Everyone needs a place to call home. Personally, I like to have a couple of great studios where I feel comfortable working, each having a slightly different approach and capabilities, to cover the widest range of projects.
Here are a few of my favorite places. For more information on each, including photos and full equipment lists, use the links provided. Of course, if you have a different studio you like to use, I’m all ears!
ValveTone Recording: My personal studio. Configured to handle pre-production, mixing, mastering and critical overdubs. Loaded with tons of great equipment, including a Neve console, compressors by API, Focal, Dangerous, Pendulum, Purple Audio and Anthony DeMaria Labs, EQs by Neve, API, Millennia and Tube-Tech. My studio shares facilities with the insanely cool Flux recording studios.
Flux Recording: One of the finest studios in New York. Boasting two finely crafted rooms; the Dangerous tracking room and the Fabulous mixing / mastering room, Flux can do it all. A 48-channel Neve console, a Steinway from 1895, 3 Rhodes, a Wurlizter, a Hammond B3 & Leslie and an insane vintage mic collection are just the tip of the iceberg. This place rocks. I mean it.
