Welcome to Valvetone - home of New York-based producer and engineer Damon Whittemore.  Damon brings his passion for great recording and years of experience to NYC’s state of the art recording, mixing and mastering facilities.

His equipment is impressive and includes gear from Neve, API, Purple, Dangerous, Pendulum, Telefunken, Crane Song and Great River. His clients are outstanding and feature artists like Paul McCartney, Andy Statman, Bela Fleck, Ricky Skaggs, and the Berlin Philharmonic.  His location is primo: the East Village in shared facilities with Flux Recording.

Big news!  ValveTone has moved from Brooklyn to the East Village! Our new home is part of Flux Recording. This is big: Flux is one of the finest studios in the world and we're happy to be part of the team!  Their A room is loaded with everything from a 48 channel Neve to a Steinway from 1895.  Cool huh?
